Make a specific commitment to use the safeguarding route in a real situation
Use the designated safeguarding route for a real concern, uncertainty, or boundary question instead of holding it informally. Choose a situation that could plausibly arise in your safeguarding role this week. When I notice [specific safeguarding signal], I will record [facts/exact words/context] and contact [named safeguarding lead or route] by [time boundary]. I will not investigate, confront, or keep it as an informal watch item. A child, learner, or service user uses a worrying phrase but does not make a full disclosure.
