A ritual should move work, not merely describe work. At scale, the calendar can either reduce coordination cost or hide it. Transparency first The team needs shared facts: goal, work in progress, dependencies, risks, and decision rights. Without transparency, inspection becomes opinion. Inspection second The team then asks what the facts mean. Are we still aimed at the sprint goal? Did a dependency move? Has a pod learned something that changes priority?
