Score a Fixture Change With RICE

Calculate a RICE score for a merchandising fixture change and use it to choose a test.

Option A: install a new charger clip-strip in 80 stores. Estimated reach is 8,000 weekly queue shoppers, impact is 1.5 on a 0.5-3 scale, confidence is 50%, and effort is 40 store-hours. RICE score = reach x impact x confidence / effort. The common trap is to call a visible fixture "small" while ignoring installation effort and weak evidence. Reach Reach = 8,000 weekly queue shoppers exposed to the fixture. Reach is high because the checkout queue is a traffic-rich location.
