Servant-Leader Stance Cards
Use stance cues to choose a Scrum Master intervention.
Servant-leader cue Make the system clearer and the team more capable. The intervention should improve future ownership, not just solve today. "Can you assign someone to this?" Say "The Developers own the plan. I can facilitate a quick ownership conversation." Assigning is faster but weakens self-management. The line helps without taking over. Coach vs proxy Choose coach unless a real organizational impediment needs escalation. Process police smell Using Scrum language to end conversation instead of improve understanding. The Scrum Guide should illuminate tradeoffs, not become a weapon.
