Search Results Need Recovery Paths

Search failure should become assisted recovery. No-results pages are high-intent moments. The shopper has told you what they want. If the system cannot match it exactly, the interface should preserve that intent and offer nearby paths: synonyms, spelling correction, softened filters, adjacent categories, or human help. The principle is continuity. Do not erase the shopper's work just because the query failed.
