Semantic model smell test
Spot common semantic-model warning signs that threaten dashboard trust.
What is the clearest grain smell? A descriptive field can join to the fact table in more than one row per entity and no one has defined the effective-date rule. That usually means the dashboard will duplicate or mislabel the KPI once the field is exposed. Dimension or metric smell? If the slice is unsafe, fix the semantic model. If the math changes, fix the metric layer. What naming smell matters most?
