Set guardrails before you let it run

The worst time to invent a boundary is after the agent has already crossed it. Guardrails belong in the design, before the first workflow run. The guardrail stack A strong agent has permissions, tripwires, approvals, and stop rules. Permissions define what the agent can read and change.
