Do Apply the plan consistently enough that the result can be compared. Calibration matters because a "setting 4" is not the same on every spreader. Check Inspect the outcome. Look for wet pavement, bonded snow, icy edges, refreeze in shade, complaints, and material left in piles. Act Update the standard. Keep what worked, change what did not, and make the adjustment visible in the route packet.
