Distinguish common sampling problems so you can fix the right one.

Sort each scenario into the dominant sampling problem. Coverage problem Nonresponse problem Self-selection problem Only English-language users were included in a survey about product onboarding. A survey invitation went to the full customer base, but most invited users never replied. The poll link was posted in a power-user community where highly motivated customers chose whether to answer. Field reps without corporate email addresses never appeared in the sampling list. Customer-success managers had to follow up three times because busy admins kept ignoring the survey. The strongest opinions flooded an optional feedback form right after a controversial UI change.
