Start Google Sheets Work With the Decision Question

Frame a Google Sheets analysis around a decision question before building formulas or charts.

A workbook without a decision question becomes a container for requests. CRISP-DM makes the business objective the starting point. For Sheets mastery, that means the sheet header should explain the decision, not just the topic. A dashboard named "Q3 Metrics" is weak. "Which regions need pipeline intervention before July 15?" tells the analyst what data, grain, filters, and chart will matter. Question Name the decision in operational language: who will act, by when, and on what threshold.
