Start With a Spec, Not a Vibe
Write a minimum viable coding spec that gives an AI agent enough signal to build the right thing.
The real speed move is front-loading clarity. When you skip the spec, you are not saving time; you are deferring the thinking into rework, review comments, and cleanup. AI coding feels fast because the draft appears quickly. But draft speed is not delivery speed. Delivery speed depends on whether the first pass hits the right boundary conditions, data shape, and acceptance bar.
