Write a BLUF opening that is clear, respectful, and context-aware.
Direct does not have to mean cold. The Teach BLUF puts the most important information first. In story-driven updates, that is usually a decision, risk, ask, or status judgment. The human version adds just enough purpose so the reader understands why the line matters now. Use this three-part opening: shared purpose, bottom line, consequence. Shared purpose prevents the line from sounding like a demand. Bottom line names the action or status. Consequence explains what happens if the action is missed.
