First-Principles Prompt Cards

What do we know for sure? List observable facts only. Remove opinions, analogies, and predictions. What are we assuming? Name the belief the recommendation depends on. The heavier the dependency, the earlier you test it. Which constraint is truly fixed? Separate fixed limits, such as budget or law, from preferences and habits. What old rule are we carrying forward? Identify the inherited practice, then ask whether the original reason still exists. What would we design if we started today? Rebuild from outcome and constraint, then compare the new design to the old approach.
