Success Metrics Make the PRD Falsifiable
Define PRD success metrics that prove outcome progress without hiding regressions.
A PRD should be able to lose its own argument. Success metrics create that discipline by defining what must change after launch. Start with the outcome metric. It should be close to the problem, not merely close to the feature. If the problem is failed onboarding, feature clicks are secondary; activation or completed setup is closer.
