Identify the reinforcing and balancing feedback loops behind a recurring workplace symptom before choosing a fix.
Look for structure before blame. Mina, a support director, sees the same Monday pattern: 47 overdue tickets, a rushed triage meeting, and another promise that next week will be different. Teach A causal loop diagram is useful when the same problem keeps returning after sensible fixes. Instead of listing events, you name variables that change over time and connect them with causal arrows. Some links move in the same direction: more backlog creates more escalation pressure.
