Apply systems thinking to understand how organizational elements interconnect and predict unintended consequences of change.

Organizations are complex systems where changes in one area ripple across the system in surprising ways. A hiring freeze intended to reduce costs may increase turnover (fewer people doing more work), which reduces product quality and customer retention. A new incentive system designed to boost individual productivity may inadvertently reduce collaboration. Systems thinking requires seeing these interdependencies before implementing changes.
