Connect Today's Tasks to the Objective
Use OKR alignment to decide whether a task belongs in the week.
Tasks compete better when the objective is visible. OKR alignment is a relevance test. Ask: Which key result does this task move? If the answer is none, ask whether it protects the operating system that lets the objective happen. If neither is true, the task may still matter, but it should not silently displace objective work.
