Large incidents may involve multiple injured people or complicated scenarios requiring coordination between BHVs, emergency services, and other staff. One BHV must take the lead, delegating tasks clearly: one person calls emergency services, another manages the crowd, a third assists an injured person. Effective coordination prevents duplication of effort, ensures all injured people receive attention, and makes best use of available resources. This requires leadership skills, clear communication, and the ability to make quick decisions under stress. Training includes practice scenarios with multiple casualties to develop these coordination abilities.
