Modules Describe Architecture

A Terraform module should express a meaningful architecture boundary. It is not automatically better because it shortens a root file. Judge a module by its interface. Inputs should represent decisions the caller genuinely owns. Outputs should expose facts downstream code needs. Internals should remain internal unless callers have a real reason to control them. Visual modules: an interface boundary diagram, a before-to-after variable list, and a comparison between resource-shaped and architecture-shaped modules.
