Outcomes Over Test Counts
Rewrite a test-automation goal as an objective with measurable outcome-oriented key results.
A good automation OKR measures changed release behavior. Objective The objective is the outcome: safer releases, faster feedback, lower regression risk, or clearer diagnosis. It should be meaningful to people outside the test team. Key results Key results are measurable proof. Avoid raw activity counts unless they are paired with impact. 'Automate 40 scenarios' is weak alone; 'cut critical-path regression diagnosis from 45 minutes to 15' tells the organization what will improve.
