A useful workplace prompt usually has six parts. Task and audience Say what you want and who will use it. A CFO brief, a manager message, and a team brainstorm need different answers. Context and source material Paste the facts the model should use. If it should not invent outside facts, say so directly. Constraints and output format Name length, tone, deadline, exclusions, and format. A table, checklist, email, or one-page brief gives the answer a shape.
