The Jagged Frontier Means Test the Boundary
Apply a frontier test to decide whether AI output needs light, normal, or heavy review.
The frontier is jagged, not smooth. Pattern familiarity AI tends to perform better when the task resembles many examples: summarize, transform, compare, draft, classify. It is less reliable when the task depends on local politics, rare exceptions, or tacit organizational memory. Verifiability If you can check the answer against sources, tests, or examples, delegation is safer.
