Map the Benefits Mix Before Adding a Perk
Allocate benefit dollars by workforce need, not by the loudest request
The teach A perk becomes strategy only when it solves a named workforce need. Benefits mix is the design of non-wage rewards inside total rewards: health, retirement, paid leave, wellbeing, flexibility, development, recognition, and sometimes equity or allowances. The point is not to offer every attractive perk. The point is to allocate limited dollars to benefits that fit workforce risk, employee value, compliance obligations, and business strategy.
