Trace Requirements to Outcomes
Explain how to connect requirements to actors, behavior changes, and business outcomes.
A backlog is not a strategy until each item can explain its impact. Impact mapping gives requirements a visible chain of reasoning. Start with the goal. Then ask which actors can influence that goal. Then ask what behavior from those actors would make the goal more likely. Only then list deliverables. This sequence prevents the team from confusing output with impact.
