Use Teach-Back When Stakes Are Real

Choose an evidence-based teach-back instead of a passive completion check.

Learners will train field teams on a product update next week. CERTIFICATION DECISION What assessment should you use? Run a short teach-back using the real audience persona and a rubric for accuracy, clarity, engagement, and handling confusion. Strong. It produces skill evidence aligned to the job. Use attendance because the content is straightforward. Weak. Attendance proves exposure, not ability to teach. Use a terminology quiz only. Incomplete.
