Use urgency and importance to rank incoming tow calls during a high-volume dispatch window.
The dispatch board is a priority system, not a sympathy contest. When call volume spikes, the hidden danger is treating every request as equal. In towing, urgency usually comes from the roadside condition: live traffic, blocked access, weather exposure, injury-adjacent scenes, law-enforcement direction, or a customer stranded somewhere unsafe. Importance comes from consequence: a rotation relationship, a motor club SLA, a commercial fleet account, a scarce heavy-duty asset, or a job that unlocks later work.
