Use focus and diffuse thinking to learn under pressure
Use focused attention and spaced diffuse breaks to retain and transfer new material during real work blocks.
The teaching When you are learning in motion, speed matters. Focused attention gives you precision; diffuse attention gives your brain the room to connect ideas. Combine both and you get both speed and transfer. Do not confuse repetition with progress. Productive repetition means your brain is doing deliberate reconstruction: recall, compare, adjust, repeat. A practical pattern for the workplace is: define one micro-goal, focus hard on it, briefly step away, then summarize from memory. Repeat twice.
