Ask for the Job, Not the Asset
Rewrite a vague UGC prompt around the customer's job, struggle, and outcome.
UGC gets sharper when the prompt asks for the progress the customer made, not just the asset the brand wants. Jobs to Be Done is useful because people remember meaningful episodes better than abstract brand categories. A request for 'a photo with our product' often produces product placement. A request for 'the moment this helped you solve a specific problem' produces context, tension, and proof. Situation Name the real moment.
