Validation should include technical expectations and business reconciliation. Technical checks ask whether columns have valid types, ranges, and uniqueness. Business checks ask whether the cleaned output still ties to trusted totals, known counts, or control reports. Both are needed because a script can be technically correct and financially wrong.
