Distinguish a playable vertical slice from a large but unproven content pile.
A playable slice beats a thick status deck. Why the slice matters A game is a system of interlocking promises. Combat feel depends on animation timing, input buffering, VFX readability, frame pacing, AI response, encounter layout, audio feedback, and camera behavior.
