Map common page issues to the four WCAG POUR principles.
A green automated score is not the same as an accessible task. The concept POUR stands for perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. It shifts accessibility from a single score to four failure questions: Can people perceive the content, operate the controls, understand states and errors, and rely on semantics that user agents can interpret? Why it works The mechanism is coverage. Automated tools catch some missing attributes and contrast issues, but they do not experience the task.
