Worked Example: Make the Request Real
Turn a fuzzy behavioral wish into a concrete NVC request with a time, action, and trigger.
Original ask: "I need you to be more proactive." Requests become useful when they ask for an observable action under a known condition. Vague requests sound thoughtful but create hidden labor. The other person has to guess which behavior would count, when it matters, and how they will know they succeeded.
