Use I-JSON When Other Systems Depend on You
Apply I-JSON constraints to make JSON safer across heterogeneous systems.
Interoperable JSON is stricter than valid JSON. A payload can be syntactically valid and still be a bad interchange message. I-JSON exists for that gap. It treats JSON as a message between independent systems, not as a convenient local object literal. Precision-sensitive values If a value is an identifier, do not make consumers guess whether they may perform arithmetic on it. Strings preserve account numbers, invoice IDs, postal codes, and leading zeros. Numbers are for quantities you intend to compare or calculate within a safe range.
