Write prompts as product briefs
Use a product-brief structure to write clearer AI prototype prompts.
Prompts become prototypes through constraints. The more clearly you name the product situation, the less the AI has to invent. User and job Start with who is acting and what they are trying to accomplish. This prevents the prototype from optimizing for a generic visitor when the real user is a dispatcher, recruiter, analyst, or admin. Constraints and states Constraints tell the model what reality the design must survive: mobile use, weak signal, approval policy, missing data, privacy, deadline pressure.
