What counts as completing a nugget
Pressing Done on Today's nugget. That's it. Reading it counts only if you mark it done.
When does the day end?
We use your local timezone, switching at midnight. So if you complete a nugget at 11:58pm and another at 12:01am, that's two days, not one.
The grace day
An available streak freeze can protect a missed day. Check your Progress page for your current streak and any protection in use. See Missed a day? The grace day.
What happens if I'm on holiday?
Toggle Holiday mode in Settings → Notifications. While on, no nudges arrive and your streak pauses (it doesn't reset). Toggle off when you're back.
Why streaks matter
Streaks are a behavioural device, not a metric we care about. A 14-day streak means you've made the daily pause for thinking normal. That's the only point.
