Recall the role of the objective and key results without sliding back into task lists or KPIs.

OKR O: Objective - what condition or achievement must become true K: Key - the critical evidence, not every useful metric R: Result - the measurable change that proves the objective moved What job does the Objective do? It states what must be achieved in meaningful, concrete language. If it sounds like a project name, it is probably too weak. What makes a Key Result "key"? It captures evidence that would change the review conversation. Useful metrics that do not prove strategic movement belong on the dashboard, not always in the KR set.
