The move: design the useful difference. Human-AI complementarity is not created by adding a person after an AI output. It is created when the human and AI contribute different information or different capabilities to the same outcome. Information asymmetry Humans may know customer history, live constraints, policy exceptions, emotional cues, or organizational politics.
