Practice Judgment on Purpose

Design a small deliberate-practice loop for nonroutine judgment at work.

Practice judgment in small reps. The nonroutine part of work is often hidden in ordinary moments: a customer complaint, a scope trade-off, a hiring signal, a partner conflict, a metric that moved unexpectedly. These are chances to practice judgment before anyone formally gives you a bigger role. Use the four-part rep: prediction, evidence, recommendation, confidence. Prediction forces you to say what you think is happening. Evidence prevents vibe-based certainty. Recommendation converts analysis into action. Confidence teaches calibration.
