Use disagreement as a calibration signal
Analyze AI-human disagreement to decide whether to rely, override, or investigate.
When AI and a human disagree, run a two-column diagnosis. Column one: What the AI knows. List the inputs, historical patterns, base rates, and signals the model can actually see. Do not give it credit for context outside its data. Column two: What the human knows. List recent conversations, political context, exceptions, relationship signals, or constraints. Do not give the human credit for being unbiased just because they are close to the work. Then ask: Which source is stronger for this decision, and what would settle the gap?
